For ILBI procedure LILI techniqiue is used only in continuous mode; exposure is carried out intravenously most often into the cubital vein, through special disposable sterile light guides KIVL-01 with a puncture needle.
Previously, helium-neon lasers with a wavelength of 633 nm and a power of 1–5 mW were used, but from the beginning of the 20th century they switched to more efficient laser diodes with a wavelength of 635 nm and the technique was called ILBI-635. Laser diodes operating in other spectral ranges are used in the most modern devices, allowing to implement new, more efficient versions of the technique: LUVBI®, ILBI-445, ILBI-525. Accordingly, to the abbreviation “ILBI” an index corresponding to the wavelength of laser illumination was added. This is the parameter that characterizes the type of the technique.

There are many variations of the technique, that differ from the basic variants of ILBI.
Combining (alternating modes) allows you to optimize the impact on the immune system (UV spectrum, 365–405 nm), and to enhance the trophic supply of tissues (red spectrum, wavelength 635 nm) [Geinits AV, Moskvin S.V., 2010; Geynits A.V. et al., 2012].
A course consists of 10–12 daily procedures with alternate change of techniques . For example, the 1st day is LUVBI®, on the 2nd procedure – ILBI-635, on the 3rd day LUVBI® is repeated, and so on ILBI-635 can be used as the first procedure, if there is a marked violation of the trophism, and vice versa, when the immune system is insufficient, there are infectious diseases, etc., the first three procedure can be carried out by LUVBI®. But it is prohibited to conduct both procedures on the same day, especially at the same time!

Combined technique, ILBI-525 + LUVBI® (basic)
A course consists of 10–12 daily procedures with alternate change of techniques. For example, the 1st day is LUVBI®, on the 2nd procedure – ILBI-525, on the 3rd day LUVBI® is repeated and so on [Pat. 2513474 RU, 2562316 RU, 2562317 RU]. It is prohibited to conduct both procedures on the same day, especially at the same time!
