Contraindications
Contraindications to the use of laser therapy procedures are divided into general and particular. It should be noted that there are no absolute and specific contra-indications for laser therapy (except for phobia and individual intolerance), however, depending on the patient’s condition, the phase of the disease and other factors, some limitations are possible.
General contraindications for laser therapy
- Hemorrhagic syndrome
- Neoplastic syndrome
- Hyperthermal syndrome (fever; patient’s body temperature over 38 ° C)
- Syndrome of systemic (cardiac, vascular, respiratory, renal and hepatic) and polyorgan (general severe condition of the patient) failure
- Cachectal Syndrome (severe general depletion)
- Epileptic syndrome
- Hysterical syndrome
- Convulsive syndrome
Particular contraindications for the use of methods of combined and conjoined laser therapy in urology and andrology, taking into account the specific features of device LASMIK-UROLOGIST DEVICE
For vibromagnet laser massage:
- Exacerbation of common infections and purulent diseases
- Fever
- Exacerbation of chronic prostatitis and chronic urethritis
- Tuberculosis floor organs
- Cancer and stones of the prostate gland
- Anal fissures
- Proctitis, paraproctitis
- Exacerbation of hemorrhoids
- Presence of acute infections
For local laser negative pressure (LLNP):
- Inguinal and inguinal-scrotal hernia
- Varicose veins of the spermatic cord of the 2nd and 3rd degree
- Pelvic and lower extremity thrombophlebitis
- Dropsy of the testicle and the membranes of the spermatic cord
- Phimosis and paraphimosis
- Acute inflammatory diseases of the genital organs
For intravenous laser irradiation of blood:
- Myocardial infarction in the subacute period and the period of scarring
- Postinfarction angina
- Anemia (Hb <80g / l)
- Circulatory failure IIa – III stage
Particular contra-indications for the use of methods of combined and combined laser therapy in gynecology, taking into account the features of the Matrix-Urologist apparatus
- Uterine myoma
- Itching of the vulva on the background of diabetes, helminthic invasion
- Acute Bartholinitis at Abscess
- Bartholin gland suppurative cyst
- Tumors and cysts of the ovaries
Laser therapy procedures for women begin on the 5–7th day of the menstrual cycle
Pregnancy, age, active tuberculosis, cancer and the presence of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) are not absolute contraindications for laser therapy, however, only specialists should prescribe and carry out procedures in this case.
