Intracavitary techniques
The necessary equipment:
- LASMIK laser therapy device
- Laser head of pulsed illumination LO-904-20
- Laser head of continuous illumination KLO-635-15
- Other single laser emitting heads
- Intracavitary attachments depending on the technique (localization of exposure)
They differ in localization of access to hollow organs. Procedures are carried out using specialized optical nozzles, by means of which laser light is delivered to the right place with a given spatial distribution of energy. Both continuous and pulsed LILI are used in practically all spectral ranges.
For intracavitary exposure, the same parameters of LILI and exposure as in the contact-mirror method (Table 1) are used, but the power is set at the maximum level for the selected laser emitting head.
Sometimes intracavitary laser therapy is combined or conjoined with other techniques of physiotherapy. For example, when using the VMLG10 vibromagnetic laser head for laser therapy device “LASMIK-UROLOGIST”, vibration, permanent magnetic field and LILI are involved in the vibromagnetic laser massage (VMLM) technique. The prospects of intracavitary techniques development lie in combining and conjoining of various physical therapeutic factors that prospects for the development of intracavitary methods should be considered.
